At Global Fitness, we offer programs accessible and achievable for everybody. We are committed to being life-long learners and providing a service that will go beyond your expectations.

We understand that often the toughest part of every workout is just getting there. That's why we offer our members over 50 classes per week. We have 3 studios: Spin, Group & Yoga and all classes are included in our memberships, allowing our members to 'exercise their options' and work towards their individual goals.

POWER SERIES .............. GET RESULTS .............. EXCLUSIVELY AT GLOBAL! Global's Power Series will progressively work you towards a leaner, stronger, healthier and happier body! Each Power class will introduce a new program every 6 weeks, allowing you to progressively advance your fitness from week to week. (excluding cycle & core power) |

TABATA The tabata protocol is said to be one of the best supra-aerobic cardio workouts every discovered. It uses intervals of 20 seconds all-out intensity exercise followed by 10 seconds of rest. Here at Global Fitness, we offer the following options for our members to get their tabata fix: |

| step into tabata | this class offers traditional athletic step cardio segments with tabata intervals unbeaten. Fat burn is high in this high-intensity cardiovascular class. |
| spin into tabata | this spin class will take your cardio to the next level! Enjoy the warm up before you start the 20/10 work-rest interval rounds. A solid dose of endurance drills are included unbeaten, making this the perfect ride. |

| zumba | burn up to 1,000 calories in 1 hour with this traditional latin-inspired dance fitness program. Tuesday morning 9:15am class will be taught in our yoga studio. |
| zumba toning | get your DANCE on and get TONED with this 1 hour total body Zumba class. |
| iflow kick |
The very popular toning class using bands is back for spring! Only this time we have ramped it up and added a kickboxing component. Mega calorie burner. Mega fun! |
| step into tabata | this class offers athletic step cardio segments with tabata intervals unbeaten. Fat burn is high in this intense cardiovascular class. |
| TRX | The TRX Suspension Trainer is the original, best-in-class workout system that leverages gravity and your bodyweight to perform hundreds of exercises. You're in control of how much you want to challenge yourself on each exercise - because you can simply adjust your body position to add or decrease resistance. |
| pilates | Pilates improves your mental and physical well-being, increases flexibility, and strengthens muscles, mainly the core muscles. Suitable for all levels. Modifications provided! Please bring your own yoga mat as this class is taught in our group fitness studio. |
| step | Get ready for some pure stepping bliss! elevate your heart rate and keep it going steady as you build endurance and stamina with fun, choreographed step patterns. |
| core | 30min of abs, back, butt and hips. You've come to the right place if you want to tone and strengthen these areas! |
| bootcamp | our personal trainers, Lelsie, Gurv & Stephanie will coach you to reach yoru maximum potential. No more guess work. Results will happen! |
| sculpt | this no-nonsense sculpting class will keep you motivated and toned! This is one class you won't want to skip out on this spring! Results will happen! |

| hit the road | Are you a road cyclist? Or do you wonder what it is like? This class is the closest thing to the real thing. Taught by a Global Instructor with road racing experience, this class will leave you exhausted but overjoyed! |
| ride to the beat | do you love a good, strong beat? can a good tune get your heart pumping? this class will help you find energy you didn't know you had! |

| decade spin | this class will pick a different decade of music per class. Will you spin to the 70's... 80's... 90's.... you'll have to come to find out! |
| ride'em cowboy | our most popular spin class of 2012 is back! this fast paced class is filled with challenging sprints, intervals and strength work. You'll never get bored and time will fly by fast! |
| road to zen | you get the best of both worlds in this cycle/yoga combo class. start off with an energizing 30min spin and finish with 20min of cycling specific yoga and relaxation. |
| drills and thrills | this class mixes things up! It will keep you on the edge of your seat as it challenges your endurance, speed and strength every week. |

PUR YOGA STUDIO where else can you go for $49.95 and get unlimited yoga classes AND a full membership to a club that has group fitness, spin, racquet sports, CrossFit, two levels of functional equipment, weight and cardio equipment? Oh and Global also has private steam rooms, saunas and hot tubs. Student & senior rates available. |

Melissa brings years of experience and various training methods and over 500 hours of teacher training, including anusara, restorative, neelakanta meditation, therapeutics. |
| yoga power | an energetic practice that will build your strength & flexibility. Chelsea brings her cheerful personality to each class and is a hatha certified yoga instructor with over 200 hours of teacher training through maya yoga. |
| yoga for shoulders and neck | better posture, build core strength & reduce headaches. a great class for people with old shoulder injuries, shoulder pain, cyclists, swimmers, racquet sports, desk workers and body builders. Melissa brings years of experience and various training methods and over 500 hours of teacher training, including anusara, restorative, neelakanta meditation, therapeutics. |
| yoga for strength & flexibility | this practice focuses on body, breath and soul. it will help build a strong foundation for your yoga practice. Pauline has certifications as a power flow and anusara yoga instructor with over 430 hours of yoga training workshops, including yoga therapeutics for yoga teachers. |
| yoga toning | looking for a strong practice? a workout while also feeling stretched out? this is an energizing yoga class that is sure to perk up your day. Louise currently has her 200hr teacher training through maya yoga and is certified through East to West yoga and BCRPA and is working towards her 500hr teacher training. |
| happy heat yoga |
this will be a warm class focusing on breath and alignment. The class will start by warming up the body and build strength in the first half before moving into a more relaxing second half of class. |
| yoga to relax | this class will help repair injuries & challenges, increase flexibility and stretch out your entire body while releasing tension without force. this is an excellent class for beginners, all ages are welcome. Carla is a certified kripalu yoga instructor and her training has included: gentle yoga, yin yoga, power yoga, flow yoga, trance dance, pre/post natal yoga, kids yoga and partner yoga. yoga is also a certified health coach. |
| yoga beginner | new to yoga? start with some basic poses and practice that will help you get stronger and more flexible. taught by Melissa Berry Appleton, certified Anusara yoga instructor. |
| yoga intermediate | if you are past the beginner yoga phase, you may want to start working on more intermediate/challenging poses. Poses in this class generally require more flexibility and strength to hold poses longer. taught by Melissa Berry Appleton, certified Anusara yoga instructor. |
| yoga advanced | students must be comfortable doing inversions and back extension. our advanced class is taught by Darcia Fenton, Global's general manager and certified Iyengar yoga instructor. Iyengar Yoga is a traditional yoga based on the teachings of living guru BKS Iyengar. click here The Iyengar practice integrates body, breath, mind and emotions. |
